My username, Aimee and Me, reflects the first four years of hikes I shared with my collie, Aimee. With the exception of a few routes where I felt dogs were unsuitable or uncertain, this profile is dedicated to logging dog-friendly hikes and celebrating the two of us exploring nature together.

I often venture into areas with few or no published trails, so some of my routes cross truly unknown terrain. At a age of 58 (dec.1966),my difficulty ratings should be viewed through the lens of my personal fitness as a man of that age.
Since January 2025, my daughter’s border collie, Cody, has joined us on most of our walks.
