Mostly shady, recommend doing route in reverse so that you spend majority of the end next to water for your dog

Quiet woodland walk, with dirt paths, likely to be muddy in winter May want to keep dogs on lead as many squirrels and some deer are present
Short streamside walk, can be muddy after rain but nice walk in dry conditions (Note: there are fallen trees, not so good for bikes)
Large park, full of fallow deer, spotted a barn owl, some kestrels, a buzzard and many waterfowl. Bikes seem to be allowed.
Teign Village Recommend a visit , well worth the money
Lovely short canicross route on mostly not too busy paths till 9-10 am but can get quite busy after that. Beware of possibly crossing horses and quite a lot of bikes enroute.
From Raikes Rd to Skippool Creek, a longer version would take in Thornton Lodge Inn. Clean paths, plenty of space.
