The Big Marco River (no Little Marco river) is a well-traveled waterway from Marco Island to Goodland. We chose a weekday and low tide and encountered less than half a dozen boats, making the ride enjoyable.
The west end of the paddle goes into many channels, bays, and mudflats that we'd like to explore at high tide. Lots of birds out today, and the weather was perfect.
