Mt Tunbubudla is actually two mountains. Park at the end of Eaton Rd, Elimbah. Walk through the steel entry gate and west along the 4wd track into the forest for 1.4km then turn right into a well marked track. A further 500m will bring you to the saddle. There is a clear path to the Western Peak (to the left). Its a fairly easy trail to follow has lots of gravel and slippery so take care. This is where you will get the best views of the Glasshouse Mountains, both to the north and south, plus back toward Mt Nebo/ Samford. Once you return down to the saddle, turn right and walk 15m till you see a small rock pile. At that point turn left and head up the trail to the eastern peak. Its a zig zaggy climb to the summit. Once again a rock cairn marks the summit. This mountain has the poorer views of the two twin and is slightly harder to climb. Do both climbs if you are looking for a good cardio workout.
