We enjoyed this peaceful walk in the countryside. The first part of the walk is on open countryside, the last half is through some beautiful dense forest on the Ashridge Estate. The elevation gain is throughout the walk, so it is very gentle. There are a few hills to climb, as seen in the elevation chart, but the path is wide and grassy. No rocks. We met several dog walkers with multiple dogs, so cute.

Nice hike. Passes through some quiet areas and some busier trails, when closer to landmarks.
I recommend going during spring since a majority of the trails go through protected meadows, which should be in full bloom.
