Yorkshire three peaks challenge; this famous challenge begins in Horton in Ribblesdale, and you should start about 7 in the morning in order to complete on time. It is tradition to begin at the Pen y gent cafe in Horton where you clock on with a traditional old style clock machine and if you complete the course in fewer than 12 hours then you are invited to join the three peaks club.
