It can be tricky over the pass, there are still parts of slippery snow on this trail too, and the alternate route is not marked and requires traversing through fairly thick forest.
If in doubt, it is advisable to get a guide for the pass.

From here on you just follow the river bed and the road until you tech your end destination. Try to keep to the left of the river streams to avoid having to go through knee deep water.
