Easy loop starting in Ta Van. We did the trek without guide an we didn’t have troubles. The way was easy to follow and there were many people walking on it.

Very good loop. After a couple of rainning days there was a lot of mud in the bamboo forest part (1 or 1,5 kms) so hikking shoes were necessary, but not a big issue. Very nice views. Thanks for posting it!
The stretch from ta van through bai da to the end of a river is along a road; lots of people walking along there and route is easy to follow. I couldn't cross the river, but that is fine because you can cross the dam at the end of the valley. Got slightly lost around the waterfall - I think the paths have changed since this route was mapped. You can go up the track to the waterfall, and then there's a path that leads across the top of the forest - it goes around the top then through it a bit. From there back to ta van the route is fine - some people have built their houses on the path but just go around the front of their homes. It can feel like you're in their front yard but I just bowed and smiled and everyone seemed fine ! Lots of people being guided along the route.
