I did this hike early summer and it was difficult, because I had to take an alternate route out of Runddalen as I couldn't cross the river. In late summer this hike may be less difficult, However, large parts of the route are without a trail, and marking are poor; I actually lost the way several times, so if you find a better route than I did, please do :). In any case, there are some rather steep and tricky climbs in the trail.
NOTE: on the last day, several kilometers of the track are missing! Please try to find the trail and red waymarks, at Geitvatnet, the marked trail goes up to a private cabin at the northern side, then starts behind the outhouse (where I went in despair as I couldn't find the trail), goes north a bit, then branches off left to rejoin what's on the map.
