I would not suggest to follow my trail lol.
We went for sunrise and it’s just worth it!! Started the trail around 5:20. We don’t know the way to the pool and so we asked random fellow hikers whom we saw that day. Few hikers told us that there are 3 ways to get there. 1st, drive to the main road and enter to some path which we are not familiar with. 2nd, from the dam side or the right side of the stairs you can see a trail actually a small road where the bikers use to go. Behind that mountains is the way to the pool. 3rd, before you reach the last resting area of the shawka loop you can find an open path (sorry didn’t take photos) if you take that path you can eventually see a white tower and a house.
We saw few cars parked on the side of the house and people taking their dogs for a walk. Go straight till you reach the pool. It took us 11km bc we had to go back twice as we are not really sure which way to take. We finished the hike almost 10am
