The plan was to hit Green Gable and go onto Great Gable and down to the tarn, but the weather conditions were absolutely atrocious and we had to bail at Windy Pass. On a normal day, it’s a great route with some steep and scrambling ascents with the odd pleasant flattish jaunt. Excellent views. 10/10 do not recommend in non-stop rain, low cloud, strong winds and and very low temperatures! Won’t be making that mistake again! 100% going back to complete the original route in better circumstances.
