This is such a fun climb, but it is a demanding ascent. The ascent is very steep and then there is some climbing, but it is secured with a cable. You can also get the Bayerische Schinder summit and the Österreichischen Schinder summit.
To start you can either follow my route at the beginning (cross the little footbridge and head up) or you can walk a little further back up the road and follow the sign for the black routed Schinder (this will join up with the path I took, I think it is just a bit more scenic). The beginning of my route is a forest road.
