i'm sorry. I think that this bunker was built after the first world war ( i don't know the date, but i think that it was built in the 1918-1920). I think that bunker was "italian" because it's very very near Rijeka and Rijeka in the 1924 was annexed in Italy (Fiume). I was wrong. poor figure.

and.. i have one question for you: near this track there is a very very old road, it start from Kamenjak and it finish near Mali Platak. This road was built by the Romans? .... for example you have photographed this road at: http://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/42201319.jpg

Both "bunker lines" were built from 1930 - 1941, some Italian part until 1943. Some of roads you were on, are actually old border check roads - but not here, border was closer to Klana. Italian fortification are (not all) very near border in this part of Vallo Alpino, (at Pulac/Lesco just few 100m), but almost all Rupnik/Jugoslav are relatively far from border line.

I'm not sure for that road, but near mountain Snježnik, there is point with name "Rimska vrata" or "Roman gate" : http://www.panoramio.com/photo/42339279. So I guess some road built by Romans must lead there, as there are not many roads i suppose it could be this one. Or at least newer road was built on older Roman one.

Ok thanks. Very interesting! For the next track I want to explore the top of the Grles (1332) and the top of Gornik (1320). Maybe I'll be back next month. Bye
