From Elounda is very nice road in the midlle of sea going to kolokitha peninsula and near to the white sand beach.To the 'island' as the locals called. At the end of road is aghios loukas church, park and take the path by the sea to the church of aghios Fokas.Path continue (follow the yellow signs) to another beach from the side of Elounda bay.From there to pelekiti beach(at the other side,1.5km more ) is not path.Is the option to make round half of island. From 3.4km do not continue to our trail and just go left,west, to other path with view to elounda site, going back to dirt road and then to starting point.Is shorter,aproxx 7km and easier.
