A great walk that covers large parts of the Marlborough Downs Ridgeway. Starting at the Sactuary, heading up the Ridgeway and then walking east onto Fyfield Downs with the array of Sarson Stones. Head to Devil's Den (see photo) and then up the hill to cross various fields and tracks before eventually re-joining the Ridgeway at Heckpen Hill and heading back to the car park.
This route has infinite opportunities for extension including to Avebury. It could also be combined with another walk I've done to create a much more challanging 25 miles walk taking in Milk and Tan Hill too.

Stunning and excellent walk which I did non stop last Sunday to beat sunset - exhilirating and also stunned by the incredible and sometimes stark terrain - leaves a deep impression on you. Thank you for an excellent route !
