Steady upward walk from Crowden taking a path above Laddow Rocks which slowly bends around to the top of the valley. From here flagstones take over allowing fast progress to Black Hill trig point. Take this path down towards Dean Clough and then up to the main road. Coffee and cake available at the van, but they close at 13.00. Easy walking down to Wessenden reservoir, then cross the valley and up to Moss reservoir. From here the path veers to the left ending up at Standedge car park.
