caution: after the 2023 heavy rainfall, path from stagiates to makrinitsa is destroyed and the stream cannot be crossed. As an alternative, go to the monastery of stagiates and turn right, then follow dirt road keeping left.
wonderfull diverse path. on the way back a (known) wild dog blocked the path so road was chosen as an alternative.
