The trail starts from Ntamouchari beach moving up the stairs at the end of the beach and continuing for about 75 min on changing landscape (low vegetation, settlements and forests) until Tsagarada. There, it makes a left turn before arriving to the main road and starts descending passing from the Church and a square with a Plane tree more than 1000 years old, a very beautiful forest (about 15 min) and crossing several times the asphalt road towards Fakistra until it reaches to the beach. Right before Fakistra, I tried to follow some marks on the right of the road and ended up on a stream that during winter leads to the beach. Unfortunately, it required climbing skills and I had to abort. From Fakistra, we took the dirt road towards Ntamouchari after making a stop at Krifo Sholio (a cave were the hidden school, supposedly, took place when Greece was under the Ottoman occupation). The dirt road becomes a trail after a while. The duration of this part should be like 40-60 min.

We followed this trail starting from and returning to Tsagkarada. Only one part of the trail from Tsagkarada to Fakistra is a bit difficult to follow due to the dense vegetation.

Only the part from 5km to 5.35km is very dence like jungle, plants with spikes and nettles. All rest of the route is just amazing! Thank you for sharing! Waterfall of Fakistra has no water late summer.
