This is a hike I took in early August through the Mount Hood Meadows area. There are many waterfalls to see along this route including Umbrella Falls, Sahale Falls, and several running run through Heather Canyon.

Nice loop, I wish to follow your track across all the MHM ski runs one day.
Actually, this track follows the trail along the Newton Creek. It is a good loop. The "real" Heather Canyon is quite the bushwhack, I did it last summer with my daughter.
Good to know bisbj. This was done quite a while ago, and I'm pretty sure was all on trail. It was more of a hike around Heather Canyon, rather than through it. :)
