It's one of Moderate trek from Diksal ( near Bhivpuri Road Railway station) Matheran via Garbett point. It can be difficult trek during Monsoons.
Trek Track : Diksal ---> Dhom lake ---> Sagachiwadi---> Garbett Plateau---> Garbett Point---> Matheran
For beginners point of view it feels little difficult till you see few children walking in line to school. Suddenly an amazing Dhom lake magically appear and you can't resist taking pictures. Once you cross a cute small Sagachiwadi village surrounded by beautiful paddy fields, you have to cross small lake.
You have to ascend atleast 250m height to reach Garbett Plateau...the most difficult part of trek I felt. Once you reach the top, it feels like you have reached paradise...bugyal like green carpet with a panoramic valley.
A quick ascend of 100 m will take you to the Garbett point. 3 more KMs of trek will land you in Matheran car parking point

Moderate trek gets tricky in monsoon. Not for the first-timers. Followed until Garbette point and then followed electricity poles to reach the city from treks.
We got lucky with the weather.
