This is a at times a challenging walk, with three rather steep climbs for which you will be rewarded with beautiful views each time, however.
Highlights of this tour are the Pont de Claies, the Cretes de Chairiere, the pastoral scenery of the picknicplaces at the Semois in Vresse-sur-Semois, Point de Vue du Jambon de La Semois with its superb view and picknick place, the stretch alongside the Semois towards Membre, the climb to Roche a Saloru with its beautifully situated watchtower and open plateau.
The Pont de Claies crossing of the Semois can only be used during the summer as it will be taken down late september each year.
This walk shows the great variety in nature that this region has.

Superbe ballade avec de belles vues. Attention, 3 beaux murs à franchir mais ça en vaut la peine ! Vraiment idéal pour découvrir 3 villages sur le même jour. Merci beaucoup

Nice trail! Started from Membre, three high intensity climbs. 2 liters of water was just enough (32°C) but better to bring 3.

ATTENTION: Le Pont de Claies est démonté - April 2024
Nice track, Point de Vue du Jambon de La Semois is truly beautiful. The Claies bridge was washed away - need to slightly modify the track to only rely on the two other big bridges.
