Exploring amazing Kennicott Town and hike to Root Glaciar - awesome National Park!!!
It’s possible to walk on the glaciar without the crampons but I’d say going with them makes the experience so much better, you can walk further into the glaciar. We did it with walking sticks which also helped a lot.
