Bu taş stel hakkında herhangi bir bilgi yoktur. Ancak George E. Bean, bölgede yaptığı araştımalarda bazı yazıtlı steller bulmuş ve bunların da Apollon Samnainos kültü ile ilgili olduğunu belirtmiştir. / There is no information about this stone stele. However, George E. Bean found some steles with inscriptions during his research in the region and he stated that these steles were related to the cult of Apollo Samnainos.

İlimar Kilisesi (Gerbe Kilise) kalıntıları / Ruins of İlimar (Gerbe) Church

Patika İlipınar'da bir Bizans kilisesinin kalıntılarının yanından geçer. Birbirine bağlı dört beşik kemer turkuaz denize bakan penceler gibi görünür. Bölge halkının Gerbe Kilise dediği kilisenin diğer kalıntılar ile birlikte küçük bir Bizans ticaret merkezi olduğu düşünülmektedir. / The trail passes the ruins of a Byzantine church at İlipınar. Four vaulted arches act as windows looking out over a turquoise coloured sea. The church is known as "Gerbe Church" and along with other ruined buildings was thought to be part of a small Byzantine trading station.

The spring that gives the region its name (İlimar) comes out of the rocks and flows throughout the season. It is thought that İlimar means "Great Spring".

Syrna antik kentinin kalıntıları / Ruins of the ancient city of Syrna

Efsaneye göre, Yunan sağlık ve tıp tanrısı Asklepios'un oğlu Podaleiros, Syrna kentinin (günümüz Bayır Köyü) kurucusudur. Troya'da Yunan askerlerinin doktoru olan Podaleiros, Karia kralının kızı ile evlenmiş, hediye olarak verilen Bozburun (Loryma) Yarımadası'nda biri karısı Syrna adına olmak üzere iki şehir kurmuştur. / In mythology, Podalirius – son of Asclepius, the god of medicine – is said to have founded the city of Syrna (modern-day Bayır). Podalirius, who served as doctor to Greek soldiers in the battle of Troy, was gifted with the Bozburun (Loryma) peninsula upon marrying Carian princess Syrna. He went on to establish two cities on the peninsula, one bearing the name of his wife.
