We missed the path just after the old washing basins and walked up the road. This was an easy walk and the road was quiet. We passed the Panorama cafe and thought this would be ideal for a stop on our return.
Reaching Exochori, we saw the marker for the footpath and took this route back to Kardamyli. It was worth the 500 m detour to have a cool drink at the cafe which we recommend!
