A loop next to the top of Jebel Yanas. A bit tricky since there is no any path and almost the entire route is covered with many many loose rocks, so be cautious. Struggles will be rewarded with an amazing view of Wadi Sal at P-12 after passing the first village. Soon after P-12 you will start walking on the slope with big loose rocks (till P-15). Optionally you can bypass it and do not climb boulders as we did.
Parking.
The starting point is at the top of Jebel Yanas next to Etisalat tower. We parked our cars just next to the tower gate.Coordinates for starting location are 25.731845, 56.095678.
We had proper 4x4 but it can be done by AWD, but not by an ordinary sedan. It should be noted that you will drive on Yanas Rd and will pass a security checkpoint (25.704899, 56.065976). Based on my experience it is always open or security just writes down your car plate number. After the checkpoint you will drive uphills on dirt road, so make sure you have enough gasoline.
Must-have gear:
1) High-cut hiking shoes
2) 4 liters of water, electrolytes
3) Sun protective clothing
