Starting behind the Hollerather Hof Hotel take the Forstweg track to the parking access, cross the main road and then head south till you pick up the Drei Buche marks and arrive in Ramscheid . Turn right off the Eifelweg and down along the track & across the field to the Kirmesbach stream. Hike alongside the stream passing the camping in Oberpreth,and then turn up the hill alongside the Ramsbach stream. Near the top of the hill there is a shelter at a fishing lake on the left. Briefly after this lake & shelter take a track sharp right uphill towards Hollerath Church. Follow the road through the village along Ramsheiderweg and you should emerge at the Scheunencafé where there is excellent coffee & cakes at weekends. Gently resume way to back of hotel
