nice trail, a big part of it was on asphalt however it was what we needed after a week of heavy rain.
we parked in front of hamat municipality and started our hike in an area of villas with very few cars, we then moved toward the sea, between olive fields and oak trees.
reaching the reef we went down following a small way inside till we reached the maritime road.
when reaching the car tunnels we went out to the left on an unpaved road that passes by the 2 older tunnels craved inside the reef and that are very nice till we met back the asphalt, then again we moved left toward the beach till we found the entrance of the very long railway tunnel, we entered the tunnel and walked all the way on the railway till the end (it is a long one) beware to go through if u are claustrophobic.
after the end of the tunnel we continued for a while on the railway, then we walked inside an old army field, till we reached the asphalt again, and we continued up to the town on the road that is relatively remote and nicely shaded by trees.
