Free parking at the start. A really great route with so many alternatives to explore you can literally tailor it to suit yourself. All paths well marked and well trodden. Lots of land marks to see including the monument, standing stones (a recent addition, erected in the millennium to commemorate the many years of quarrying in the area) and the prospect tower. Refreshments available from the Prince of Wales Pub. Dog friendly although some livestock in fields still areas for off lead runs.
