Amazing walk, split in two with an overnight stay at Thilba Thalba Walker’s Camp. Best parts of the loop? All of it! The valley walk following Gheerulla Creek was a beaut start, then climbing up to Mt Thilba Thalba tested the legs, but the views made it all worthwhile! Not sure how long I spent at the lookout - time seemed to stand still in the late afternoon glow! Then onto camp where the views were just as good and the horizon changed into a million different hues of red before it finally set! Then sunrise … wow! Then the walk out, past another lookout which probably topped them all, and on through rainforest back to the start, some 23km later! This trail is through superb country! Either direction would be fine. Good, relatively easy-graded climb the way I went, up the bluff to Thilba Thalba. Get out there!

How long did it take you get to the Thilba Thalba Walker’s Camp ?
Hey Warwick. I reckon it probably took about 2.5hrs from the car to the campsite, then about 2hrs walk back to the car the next day. Great walk! Highly recommended! :)
