The Dartlo-Parsma-Girevi trek is another one of my favorite treks through some of Tusheti’s most remote and scenic landscapes.
Starting from the ancient village of Dartlo, with its iconic stone towers, the trail winds through lush valleys and past rushing rivers. You’ll pass through Parsma, a tranquil village that seems frozen in time, before reaching Girevi, the last outpost before the wilderness.
This trek is utterly fascinating! A rather long one, but not a challenging terrain. You should beware (as always when in Tusheti) of the shepherd dogs. At some point we encountered 4 dogs and luckily we met an acquaintance who moved us forward 1km with a car.
