Visita al Parque Ecológico Chipinque: Información Importante

Compra de entradas:
Para visitar el Parque Ecológico Chipinque es necesario adquirir tu entrada previamente. Estas solo están disponibles en línea a través de nuestra página oficial: https://www.chipinque.org.mx/tienda.

Código de convivencia:
Es fundamental respetar el entorno natural y seguir las normas del Parque. Te invitamos a leer el Código de Convivencia antes de tu visita en: https://www.chipinque.org.mx/codigodeconvivencia.

Hidratación y preparación:
Lleva siempre más agua de la que crees necesitar. Esto te ayudará a estar preparado ante cualquier imprevisto durante tu recorrido.

Comunicación y seguridad:
Antes de iniciar tu visita, informa a familiares o amigos sobre el recorrido que planeas realizar y la hora aproximada de regreso. Recuerda que algunas zonas del Parque no cuentan con señal celular.

Emergencias:
En caso de cualquier accidente, comunícate de inmediato al número de emergencias del Parque: 8123695352.

Orientación:
Aunque la aplicación Wikiloc puede ser una herramienta de apoyo, te recordamos que debes contar con un buen sentido de orientación y mantenerte atento a tu entorno para desplazarte con seguridad.

Normas de conducta:

Prohibido fumar y usar vaporizadores: Quien no respete esta regla será consignado a las autoridades.
No alimentes a la fauna silvestre: Esta práctica perjudica la salud de los animales y está estrictamente prohibida.

Información especìfica para El Circuito Cacomixtle:

Encuentra la quietud del bosque. Iniciando en La Explanada, toma El Empalme en dirección del oriente.
Llegarás al paraje Delicias, donde verás las dos casitas verdes en ambos lados del sendero, las residencias de guardabosques de Chipinque. En la intersección que verás adelante, seguirás pegado por la izquierda sobre la misma vereda.

En la siguiente intersección encontrarás a tu mano izquierda un bebedero y un mapa. Ahí podrás rellenar tu botella de agua y luego tomar el sendero que está más hacia la derecha, este te llevará a la Mesa del Epazote.

Al llegar a esta meseta podrás descansar en las mesas techadas o en la planicie de pasto.

Para retomar tu camino encontrarás una brecha al fondo de la mesa del Epazote, y la debes seguir hasta la Casa del General Almazán. El sendero es angosto, ten paciencia al ceder el paso si cruzas con otros visitantes. Pasarás la Mina de San Francisco, un sitio histórico del parque que ya está en desuso desde hace muchos años. Accesarla está estrictamente prohibido por motivos de seguridad.

Desciende la vereda que llegará de nuevo al Paraje Delicias, y toma hacia tu izquierda para retornar por El Empalme de vuelta a la Explanada.

Important Information for Visiting Chipinque Ecological Park

Ticket purchase:
To visit Chipinque Ecological Park, you must purchase your ticket in advance. Tickets are only available online at our official website: https://www.chipinque.org.mx/tienda. In the case of La Eme, a special summit permit is required, and can be purchased in that same link. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket in addition to the summit permit. Remember that access is exclusive for the selected date and you must present the permit at the toll gate when entering the park.

Code of conduct:
Respect for nature is essential. Please read and understand the Park's Code of Coexistence before your visit: https://www.chipinque.org.mx/codigodeconvivencia.

Hydration and preparation:
Always carry more water than you think you'll need to be prepared for any unexpected situations during your visit.

Communication and safety:
Notify family or friends of your planned route and estimated return time. Keep in mind that some areas of the Park have no cell phone reception.

Emergencies:
If you experience any type of accident, immediately call the Park’s emergency number: 8123695352.

Navigation:
While the Wikiloc app can be a helpful tool, you should rely on your sense of direction and stay aware of your surroundings to navigate the Park safely.

Behavior rules:

No smoking or vaping: Anyone caught doing so will be reported to the authorities.
Do not feed the wildlife: Feeding animals harms them and is strictly prohibited.

Information regarding the Mystic Loop.
Find stillness in the forest. Starting at La Explanada, take El Empalme trail heading east.
You'll reach the Delicias area, where you'll see the two small green houses on either side of the trail, these are Chipinque ranger residences. At the intersection ahead, stay to the left along the same trail.

At the next intersection, you'll find a drinking fountain and a map on your left. There you can refill your water bottle and then take the uphill trail on the right, which will take you to Mesa del Epazote.

Upon reaching this plateau, you can rest at the shaded tables or on the grassy plain.

To resume your journey, you'll find a gap at the bottom of the Epazote plateau, which you must follow to the Casa del General Almazán. The path is narrow; be patient when yielding if you're crossing paths with other visitors. You'll pass the San Francisco Mine, a historic site in the park that has been unused for many years. Entrance is strictly forbidden for safety reasons.

Go down the path that will take you back to Paraje Delicias, and turn left to return along El Empalme back to the Explanada.
