Circuit Ettelbruck - Diekirch - Erpeldange - Ettelbruck CFL 11 + variant

Ce tour à la jonction des Ardennes luxembourgeoises vallonnées et le Gutland plus plat relie Ettelbruck et Diekirch. Ces deux ville et leurs alentours sont en train de se fondre en un seul pôle urbain désigne par Nordstad. Voici une randonnée variée comprenant nombreux attractions de deux villes touristiques, des paysages étendus de forêts et de campagne, tout comme quelques merveilleux ponts de vue.

Le parcours commence par une montée raide vers Nuck Hill, d'où, depuis le kiosque, une vue magnifique vers le nord. De là, vous entrez dans le Sentier Adrien Ries (marqué par deux carrés, bleu et vert) qui descend vers Diekirch. De la gare de Diekirch à la gare d'Ettelbruck, nous suivons l'itinéraire marqué CFL 11. Avant de monter à Härebierg, vous pouvez visiter l'un des points d'intérêt locaux: le conservatoire national des véhicules historiques, le musée national d'histoire militaire, l'ancienne église Saint-Laurent et l'église décanale Saint-Laurent. Le circuit CFL 11 longe le Sentier du Nord (losange jaune) jusqu'à la forêt de Friedbësch, d'où nous descendons vers Erpeldange-sur-Sûre. Ici, nous traversons la rivière puis la voie ferrée et sur le sentier Victor Hugo nous retournons à Ettelbruck. En plus de la zone piétonne avec commerces et restaurants, vous pouvez visiter le Musée Général Patton.

At the jonction of the hilly Luxembourg Ardennes and the country's plain Gutland, this tour links Ettelbruck and Diekirch. Both cities and their environment are about to merge and form an urban pole referred to as Nordstad (North City). This is a varied ramble including many points of interest from the two cities, wide landscapes made up of forest and countryside, as well as some beautiful viewpoints.

The route starts with a steep climb to Nuck Hill, where from the kiosk there is a beautiful view to the north. From here we enter the Path Adrien Ries (marked by two squares, blue and green) which descends to Diekirch. From Diekirch train station to Ettelbruck train station we follow the route marked CFL 11. Before going up to Härebierg you can visit one of the local points of interest: the national conservatory of historical vehicles, the national museum of military history, the old church St. Lawrence and the deanery church St. Lawrence. The CFL 11 circuit goes along the Path of the North (yellow rhombus) to the Friedbësch forest, from where we descend to Erpeldange-sur-Sûre. Here we cross the river and then the railway and via the Victor Hugo Trail we return to Ettelbruck. In addition to the pedestrian area with shops and restaurants, you can visit the Musée Général Patton.
