Descrizione dell'itinerario
Chichen Itza is one of the seven new world wonders and when you're here it's easy to see why. It contains several impressive temples with the Temple of Kukulcán as central point. The main plaza with the Temple of Kukulcán can become quite crowded, but if you go to the other directions there will be less people. Foresee at least two, three hours to stroll around Chichen Itza in order to appreciate the magnificent architecture. As it has become so successful there are also a lot of merchants and this was the aspect that I liked the least about this place. You will find these merchants everywhere as they are almost part of the landscape. The site is larger than other Maya ruins and half the fun is to explore the lesser visited areas such as the cenotes and Observatorio.
