Its difficulty is medium. The hiking trail to Cabana Sorda Lake starts at km 1.5 of the Vall d’Incles road. The path climbs along the stream of the Font dels Comellassos, to enter the Pinosa forest. We will continue in a north-easterly direction, passing through the Fenefau ravine and zigzagging up to the Cabana Sorda salt marshes.
Next, we will cross an alpine meadow until we reach a pass where there is a sign towards the Querol lake and the Salamander ponds, we will continue in a northerly direction. We will follow the river until we reach the Cabana Sorda lake at an altitude of 2,290 m. A few meters from the lake, there is the Cabana Sorda refuge with a capacity for 20 people.
The route starts at km 1.5 of the Vall d’Incles road, in the parish of Canillo (42 ° 35 '42 ", 1 ° 40' 24").
For your safety, we recommend that you do all the routes above 1,700 meters from the end of June to the end of September.
