Box Hill Circular Walk & Stepping Stones.
This is one of my favorite hikes in the UK. It starts from the railway station and goes directly to the Stepping Stones. After a picture and all, then you head up the mountain to the real hike.
Starting at 10.30am, we got to the pub for lunch (King William IV) by 1-1.30pm, so very good timing.

It was demanding. Especially at the beginning. But well worth it. The level of technical difficulty is about right and applies to the terrain.
