It was a beautiful sunny morning.
We woke up at 9, had our breakfast and before leaving our local crew did the traditional celebration.
We all danced while they were singing the Kilimanjaro / Hakuna Matata song.
It was an emotional goodbye and right after, we started our hike.
For the whole 9 km we were walking in a very beautiful part of the rain forest. I couldn't stop taking pictures of this amazing and rich place. We even encountered couple of Monkeys.
The whole hike was under the huge trees.
After around 3 hours we reached the Mweka Gate at 1620 m of elevation and we arrived to our final destination.
It is the end of our unforgettable adventure.
It is true that you get back different.
It was a great achievement and its memory will remain with us till the end of time.
We will have a beautiful story to tell to our kids and grandchildren.
