Descrizione dell'itinerario
Leave from Bamford train station towards Yorkshire Bridge linking together two famous routes - Castleton, Mam Tor and The Great Ridge Walk with Ladybower and finishing at the top of Bamford Edge. From the top, the route continues North to Derwent Edge and returns via Back Tor and East then South to Stanage, ticking several hill tops on the way until finally returns back to Bamford train station. The route is aprox 80km long and can be done in 3-4 days depending of ones fitness and choice of overnight stay. It can also be divided in 3 big loops to accommodate overnight stay in the valley. It was hand drawn using as reference the most popular routes in the area.
