Descrizione dell'itinerario
We spent some time at the cedars forest (lunch break) where we met two busloads of American tourists of Lebanese origins (They were in love with Lebanon and can't wait to come again).
This trail was supposed to be a loop (boring back & forth on the same trail) but we decided to explore and changed the trail by making it a true loop; this was at a price (pavement!). We ended up going through sleepy villages and walking on pavement until we reached Ehden again.
A great hike and beautiful scenery.
P.S. I am ranking this trail as difficult because of the rocky/gravel nature of the trail.
Waypoint

Mist Hotel
This beautiful hotel in Ehden earned its name because of it being blanketed in fog most of the days.
Go Straight

Iron-board Rock
A beautiful rock formation that resembles (according to Chris Holzl my friend and fellow hiker) an iron-board.
Bsharri LMT Trail
The trail intersects with the LMT trail starting here.

Shepherd Summer Barn
During summer, shepherds take their flocks out to the prairies to graze and rove the area; the usually build a make shift barn and spend the summer with their flock in it. It is like a summer home for livestock.

Outdoor Church
This outdoor church is in the heart of the Bsharri cedar reserve; there was an outdoor mass at the time we were there.

Wooden Sculptures
Dead cedars trees were converted into standing sculptures by Artist Rudy Rahme. I visited this place almost 20 years ago and the sculptures were well kept and in great condition. Now, the pollinators converted them into a hotel where you can see holes allover and cracks in the wood. I bet these sculptures, if not cared for, will be no more in a few years.
B2a3 Zikta Village
We came across many villages that I have never heard of; this is one of them.
Arbeed Village
This village has the same name as my neighbors last name.

Boofa Village
We met a local who invited us to his home. You come across people like him in the Lebanese country side. We made a friend.
