If you're like me, you prefer any dirt trail or road over anything paved. That can be difficult to find while traveling for work in certain locales, and while Eindhoven, NL has an abundance of paved bike lanes and walking paths, actual dirt trail is hard to come by. After many attempts, I finally established the longest loop I could route out that I believe allows for the most possible access to earthen trails, but even then it is maybe only 65-35 (dirt-paved). I list this route as "Easy" because it has absolutely no elevation gain, as you would expect in The Netherlands, but it is definitely not for the faint of heart. Along certain sections, you will brush by thickets of thorny bushes and stinging nettles, run through clusters of various insects, and have to hop over pot holes and horse manure. I would also caution that this route should only be run if it has been dry for some time, as the trails can get muddy, especially the dirt road near the horse stables which can develop huge puddles. Also, please be careful when crossing the various automobile roads and bikes paths; the bike tunnel under Boutenslaan is especially dangerous as commuters gain speed going through it despite a somewhat blind bend.
